GREENVILLE, SC – Wyche, a leading full-service law firm with three offices across South Carolina, announces that Jessica Monsell has joined the firm as an associate in its Litigation Practice.
Monsell, a cum laude graduate of Georgetown Law, will be based in the Greenville office of Wyche, where she will focus her practice on complex business litigation, insurance, technology, and transportation law.
Monsell served as Editor-in-Chief of the Georgetown Law Technology Review and as a Judicial Intern to the Honorable Patty Shwartz at the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. She also served as a law clerk at the Federal Trade Commission, and as a legal intern at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy.
Before pursuing her law degree at Georgetown, Monsell spent more than 12 years as a trial paralegal at one of the nation’s largest plaintiffs’ firms. During that time, she handled cases in federal and state court arising from air disasters.
Monsell earned an undergraduate degree from Hamilton College and a master’s degree from Middlebury College, both in French, and she spent two years studying and working in Paris. She also previously worked as a researcher in the Wall Street office of the French Treasury, studying trends in the U.S. financial markets.
