Brandon Stone focuses his practice at Wyche on complex litigation, government investigations, and white collar criminal defense. He brings to his work the perspective of a federal prosecutor, having served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Northern District of Illinois, where he investigated and prosecuted a wide range of federal offenses, from fraud and money laundering to violent crime and narcotics trafficking. Previously, Brandon practiced at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, representing clients in high-stakes civil and criminal matters involving securities fraud, antitrust, False Claims Act, FCPA, and OFAC sanctions investigations, as well as conducting sensitive internal and government-facing investigations.
Before entering private practice, Brandon clerked for judges on both the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the District of Alaska. A former Navy SEAL officer, he led combat deployments to Afghanistan, Iraq, and Africa, earning the Bronze Star Medal with Valor and the Purple Heart.
Brandon earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where he was a Tillman Scholar and Sentinels of Freedom Scholarship recipient, and his B.A. in Economics with Honors from The Ohio State University.
