Maurie Lawrence serves as Vice President of Sustainability and Associate General Counsel at Milliken & Company, headquartered in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Maurie works with global teams to enable sustainability to accelerate Milliken’s business strategy. Milliken is one of only seven companies to earn World’s Most Ethical Companies® designation every year since the honor’s inception, and one of the first 50 companies in the world to obtain validated science-based net-zero targets.
Maurie currently serves on the board of Upstate Forever and is a member of the Liberty Fellowship’s Class of 2025. She also has served on the boards of the Greenville Housing Fund, Public Education Partners, Clement’s Kindness, Piedmont Health Foundation. Maurie is a Greenville, South Carolina native. She attended Smith College and Georgetown University Law Center.
