Scnow.com, part of The Morning News, featured an article on April 19, 2012 entitled “Court rules against Florence County treasurer” written by John Sweeney.
Sweeney writes that “The war between the Florence County Council and Florence County treasurer may be winding down after the issuance of a court order saying the treasurer effectively broke state law; however, both sides say there are more battles to fight and that the ramifications will extend beyond the borders of Florence County.”
Wyche attorney, John Moylan, who represented Florence County Council, said “Council just pitched a perfect game.”
