GREENVILLE, SC (November 21, 2016) – Wyche attorney Jo Hackl has been honored by the Greenville County Bar Association with the prestigious Tommy Thomason Award. The award was established in 1993 to recognize the Greenville lawyer who best exemplifies compassion, unshakeable integrity, strong personal values, dedication to the community, humility, and diplomacy. As the Greenville County Bar Association’s highest honor, the award celebrates those who are admired by peers, dedicated to improving the legal system, and committed to resolving disputes in a way that minimizes conflict.

Jo Hackl is a graduate of Yale Law School and focuses her practice at Wyche on corporate and securities law matters. She is on the United Way of Greenville Board of Directors, the Greenville Technical College Area Commission Board of Directors, the Greenville Center for the Creative Arts Board of Directors, and the Camperdown Academy Board of Directors. She is also a mentor for the Greenville Chamber of Commerce PULSE Pace Setters program, a founding mentor of the NEXT MIT Venture Mentoring Service, a Senior Advisor for the Liberty Fellowship, Past Chair of the Community Foundation of Greenville Board of Directors, and Past Chair of the Greenville Area Development Corporation Board of Directors.
