COLUMBIA, SC (MARCH 16, 2020) – Wyche is pleased to announce Kara Bailey Hamilton has joined the firm as an Associate on the Commercial Real Estate Team. Kara’s practice focuses on matters relating to commercial real estate acquisition, commercial development, commercial lending and borrowing, including loan documentation drafting, workouts, and forbearance agreements, deeds in lieu of foreclosure, and REO property. She conducts transactions in commercial banking, business, and real estate matters and provides legal services to various corporate in-house counsel.
Kara handles commercial closings, utility easements, drafting and negotiating leases and subleases, landlord tenant disputes and title insurance and opinions. She is also an adjunct professor of Capstone Commercial Real Estate at the University of South Carolina School of Law.
Prior to joining Wyche, Kara practiced law in Columbia, South Carolina. She earned a Bachelor of Arts and a law degree from the University of South Carolina. She is based in Wyche’s Columbia office.
