GREENVILLE, SC (November 17, 2016) – Maurie Lawrence has been elected Chair of Wyche’s Executive Committee by the firm’s membership. As Chair of the Executive Committee, Lawrence will be responsible for the firm’s overall leadership and direction. She succeeds Ted Gentry, who served as Chair of the Executive Committee for the past three years.

Lawrence focuses her practice on complex real estate transactions, with an emphasis on significant development projects. Her practice includes a diverse set of clients from non-profits to global manufacturing companies. She is an adjunct professor for Clemson’s Master of Real Estate Development Program, is the current President of the City of Greenville Public Facilities Corporation, is a Capital Campaign Member of the Cancer Survivor’s Park, and is past President of CREW Upstate South Carolina. Lawrence is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center and Smith College.
