GREENVILLE, SC (March 27, 2015) – Wyche attorney Maurie Lawrence has been named “The Closer” by Upstate Business Journal at the Journal’s Who’s Who Awards Celebration. The Who’s Who Awards recognize individuals who are committed to advancing their fields and the community. The Closer award recognizes an outstanding dealmaker.
The Who’s Who Award recipients are chosen based on a unique and rigorous process. Selections are made based on nominations, exhaustive work by researchers, and a panel of judges comprising key community and business leaders.
Lawrence focuses her practice on large-scale commercial real estate transactions and significant leasing projects including ground leases and build-to-suit leases. She also advises clients on sustainable real estate practices, including green leasing, land preservation, and conservation easements. Active in the community, Lawrence founded CREW Upstate and serves as chair of the Children’s Garden Committee for the Cancer Survivors Park. She is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center and Smith College.
