Wyche is pleased to announce Rita Bolt Barker has been elected to the firm’s Executive Committee. Wyche’s Executive Committee consists of five shareholders and serves as the governing body of the firm, addressing business matters, policies, and the firm’s overall direction.

Barker works primarily in the area of general litigation, with an emphasis on environmental and insurance coverage issues. She advises clients on assessing environmental risks and incentives associated with corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and real estate deals. Her extensive experience in the area of insurance coverage includes assisting clients in assessing adequacy of coverage, filing claims, and securing coverage for defense and indemnification costs. Barker graduated from Clemson University and Harvard Law School. She is listed in Chambers USA, as a Rising Star in Super Lawyers, Best Lawyers in America, and Legal Elite.
