GREENVILLE, SC – Wyche attorney Jo Hackl has been honored by the Community Foundation of Greenville with the Ruth Alexander Nicholson Award for 2013. The annual award recognizes a person who has made significant contributions to the Greenville community through volunteer work for the Community Foundation or to one of its projects, programs, or areas of emphasis.
“The Ruth Alexander Nicholson Award is the highest honor we present each year,” said Harriet Goldsmith, Chair of the Community Foundation of Greenville Board of Directors. “The work that Jo Hackl has done for our foundation and for Greenville will have a lasting impact on our community for many years.”
Ms. Hackl is Past Chair of the Community Foundation of Greenville Board of Directors. In addition to her work with the Community Foundation of Greenville, she is on the United Way of Greenville Board of Directors and the Camperdown Academy Board of Directors. Ms. Hackl is also a mentor for the Greenville Chamber of Commerce PULSE Pace Setters program, a Senior Advisor for the Liberty Fellowship, and Past Chair of the Greenville Area Development Corporation Board of Directors. She is a graduate of Yale Law School and focuses her practice at Wyche on corporate and securities law matters.
