Wyche Expands Its Real Estate Practice Group

GREENVILLE, SC (November 2018) – Wyche, P.A. announces the addition of Maheen Akhter to its real estate practice group.

Akhter joins Wyche as a real estate associate, focusing on commercial real estate with an emphasis on multi-family and commercial development, leasing and borrower-side financing. A South Carolina native, Akhter is a 2006 graduate of Southside High School and a 2010 graduate of the University of South Carolina, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science magna cum laude.  She received her Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law in 2014, where she was vice president of the South Asian Law School Association and a member of the Real Estate Practice Society. Akhter has extensive experience representing both small and large companies with varied real estate needs, and has worked with local governments to assist clients in developing private-public partnerships.

She is based in Wyche’s Greenville, SC office.
