Wyche Expands Litigation Team with Top-Tier Attorneys from Leading International Law Firms

Experienced Litigator and Former U.S. Marine Corps Judge Advocate Jack Heron Joins Wyche, Alongside Standout Associate Bennett Hardymon.

GREENVILLE, SC (July 9, 2025) – Wyche, a leading full-service law firm with offices across South Carolina, is pleased to announce the addition of Jack Heron as a member of the firm and standout associate Bennett Hardymon. Both Heron and Hardymon recently practiced at large international law firms and have extensive experience in sophisticated litigation matters.

Jack Heron is a commercial litigator focusing on high-stakes disputes in state and federal courts across the country. He also advises clients on internal investigations, government inquiries, corporate governance matters, and post-merger disputes. Prior to joining Wyche, Heron practiced in the Atlanta office of a leading international law firm, where he represented clients in federal securities class actions, ERISA litigation, shareholder derivative lawsuits, and matters involving the United States Securities and Exchange Commission. He helped lead litigation strategies for clients in the energy, finance, and healthcare sectors, among others. Heron also served for over a decade as a Judge Advocate in the United States Marine Corps, both on active duty and in the reserves. His service included numerous contested jury trials and earned him the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal for meritorious service. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law and Furman University.

Bennett Hardymon joins Wyche as a litigation associate. Prior to joining the firm, Hardymon was an intellectual property attorney at a large international law firm, where he gained experience in high-stakes litigation, complex transactions, and intellectual property portfolio management. He earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he served on the editorial board of the Journal of Law & Politics, and holds a B.S. in Bioengineering from Clemson University.
