Miranda Nelson focuses her practice at Wyche on complex litigation and matters pertaining to bankruptcy. Before joining Wyche, she served as a judicial law clerk, first to the Honorable Joseph F. Anderson, Jr. at the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina, and later to the Honorable David R. Duncan at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the same district. Miranda graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia, where she studied English and Philosophy, and is a cum laude graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law. While in law school, she was the Senior Articles Editor for the South Carolina Law Review, a peer mentor, and an academic tutor in legal writing for first-year students.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Miranda is a member of the Junior League of Columbia and volunteers with community initiatives focused on the welfare of senior citizens in the Midlands. She is based in our Columbia, SC office.
