Wyche Expands Its Litigation Team to Meet Growing Client Needs

Greenville, SC (February 6, 2024) – Wyche, P.A. has added three new attorneys as it expands to meet growing client needs.  Rachel Horton, Miranda Nelson, and Graham Pitman have joined the firm as associates.

Rachel Horton’s practice focuses on complex litigation. A former teacher, Horton also has a background in education law and assists Wyche’s education practice group. She received her Juris Doctor from Duke University School of Law, where she worked in both the Health Justice Clinic and the Wrongful Convictions Clinic. While in law school, she served in leadership roles for the Innocence Project and Women’s Law Student Association. Horton attended the Honors College at the College of Charleston, where she was a Teaching Fellow and Presidential Scholar. She graduated summa cum laude, earning degrees in English, Religious Studies, and Secondary Education.

Miranda Nelson focuses her practice at Wyche on complex litigation and matters pertaining to bankruptcy. Prior to joining Wyche, she served as a judicial law clerk, first to the Honorable Joseph F. Anderson, Jr. at the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina, and later to the Honorable David R. Duncan at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the same district. Nelson is a cum laude graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law. While in law school, she was the Senior Articles Editor for the South Carolina Law Review, a peer mentor, and an academic tutor in legal writing for first-year students. Nelson graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia, where she studied English and Philosophy.

Graham Pitman focuses his practice on complex litigation matters, including intellectual property disputes, constitutional issues, and tort claims. Before joining Wyche, he worked as a law clerk to the Honorable Judge Robert J. Conrad, Jr. in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of North Carolina. He graduated cum laude from the Wake Forest University School of Law, where he worked as a teaching assistant for three professors and published a journal note on trademark law. Pitman holds a business degree from the Clemson University Honors College, where he was a National Merit Scholar and a Presidential Scholar.
