Client and Peer Reviews Encourage High Rankings for Wyche in Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Wyche, P.A. is once again recognized in every practice area listed for the state of South Carolina in the 2012 edition of Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business (“Chambers”). These practice areas are Litigation, Corporate/Mergers and Acquisitions, Labor & Employment, and Real Estate. In addition, nine Wyche attorneys were singled out as leading lawyers in South Carolina in their respective practice areas. Chambers determines its rankings by conducting interviews with clients and peers of the attorneys.

Wyche is ranked as a top tier South Carolina firm in Litigation again for 2012. The guide recognizes Wyche for its bench strength in this area, noting “This 20-strong litigation team is praised by sources for the quality of its attorneys and its extensive experience in representing both plaintiffs and defendants in class actions, antitrust and general commercial litigation.” Attorneys Wallace Lightsey, Henry Parr, and Troy Tessier are singled out as leading lawyers in this practice area.

Wyche’s Corporate/Mergers & Acquisitions team is also highly ranked again this year. Chambers notes that “This 12-lawyer group is hailed by clients for its strong corporate and transactional practice, and for the impressive pedigree of its attorneys. The team has been busy in acquisitions, sales, stock offerings, financings and other matters on behalf of clients.” Wyche attorneys Eric Amstutz and Cary Hall are highlighted as leading lawyers in this practice area.

Wyche is also recognized as a leading law firm in South Carolina for its Labor & Employment practice group. The guide says that “Wyche operates with a small but effective team of attorneys, who earn praise for their excellent attention to client service. The team advises educational institutions… and large manufacturing companies… on a variety of employer-employee and employer-union disputes.” Wyche attorneys Ted Gentry and Mark Bakker are named leading lawyers in this practice area.

Wyche’s Real Estate practice area is recognized again this year as well.
