Wyche Adds to Its Roster of World-Class Attorneys

GREENVILLE, SC (January 3, 2017) – Wyche, P.A. has added four new attorneys to the firm as it expands to meet growing client needs.  Michael Brearley, Camden Navarro Massingill, and Chris Schoen have joined Wyche as associates.  Chad LaBruyere has joined Wyche as an Of Counsel attorney, bringing 12 years of private practice and in-house counsel experience.

Michael Brearley concentrates his practice at Wyche on transactional matters, with an emphasis on commercial real estate and economic incentives.  He earned his law degree from Vanderbilt University Law School, where he was a Dean’s Scholar and recipient of the Dean’s Leadership Award. During law school, he co-founded the Vanderbilt Legal Technology Society and actively participated in Vanderbilt’s Program on Law and Innovation.  Brearley graduated cum laude from Furman University, where he received the prestigious John D. Hollingsworth Scholarship.

Camden Navarro Massingill’s practice includes counseling and assisting clients on a broad range of labor and employment matters, and further includes all facets of workplace-related litigation in federal and state courts.  Her practice also regularly involves assisting clients with other litigation needs. Massingill is a member of the Greenville Chamber of Commerce’s Pulse Young Professionals and the Greenville Young Lawyers Division, and serves on the Board of The Furman Co.  Massingill earned her law degree from The George Washington University Law School, and graduated summa cum laude from Vanderbilt University.

Chris Schoen focuses his practice on First Amendment media defense, intellectual property disputes, False Claims Act cases, and a range of other complex litigation, including shareholder oppression, catastrophic personal injury, and antitrust litigation.  He has served as a law clerk to The Honorable Bruce Howe Hendricks and The Honorable C. Weston Houck, both United States District Judges for the District of South Carolina.  Schoen serves on the board of the Federal Bar Association and the Executive Committee of the Greenville County Bar Association.  He earned his law degree from University of Virginia School of Law, where he served on the Submissions Review Managing Board for the Virginia Journal of International Law.  Schoen graduated magna cum laude from Furman University.

Chad LaBruyere has a diverse practice and represents clients in labor and employment, litigation, and general corporate and transactional matters.  Prior to joining Wyche, LaBruyere served as corporate counsel for a Fortune 500 company, and he has extensive experience advising clients across a wide range of business sectors, including human resources, risk management, compliance, technology, licensing, and advertising and marketing.  LaBruyere earned his law degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law.  He graduated cum laude from Furman University and holds a Masters of Theological Studies from Duke University, where he graduated magna cum laude.
