COLUMBIA, SC (November 19, 2025) – Wyche, a leading full-service law firm with offices across South Carolina, announces that Brandon Stone, a former federal prosecutor and partner at a leading international law firm, has joined the firm as a Member in its litigation practice. Stone will be based in Wyche’s Columbia office and will focus his practice on complex litigation, government investigations, and white-collar criminal defense.
“Brandon brings a rare combination of legal talent, investigative experience, and leadership under pressure,” said Tally Parham Casey, CEO and Chair of Wyche’s Executive Committee. “His background as a federal prosecutor, coupled with his work on complex, high-stakes litigation matters, will be a tremendous asset to our clients facing government scrutiny or significant litigation exposure. We are proud to welcome him to Wyche.”
Stone most recently served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Northern District of Illinois, where he investigated and prosecuted a wide range of federal offenses, including fraud, money laundering, public corruption, violent crime, and narcotics trafficking. Prior to his public service, Stone practiced at a leading international law firm, where he represented clients in high-profile civil and criminal matters involving securities fraud, antitrust litigation, False Claims Act issues, FCPA and OFAC sanctions investigations, and sensitive internal and government-facing investigations.
Stone also brings experience from the federal judiciary, having clerked for Judge Julius N. Richardson of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and for Chief Judge Timothy M. Burgess of the U.S. District Court for the District of Alaska.
Before entering the legal profession, Stone served in the United States Navy as a SEAL officer, leading combat deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq, and deploying to various countries on the African continent. He is the recipient of the Bronze Star Medal with Valor and the Purple Heart.
“The opportunity to join Wyche—a firm known for its litigation strength, deep client relationships, and commitment to excellence—was an easy decision,” said Stone. “Wyche is respected across South Carolina and beyond for handling complex matters with integrity and skill. I’m honored to join this exceptional team.”
Stone is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center, where he was a Tillman Scholar and Sentinels of Freedom Scholarship recipient. He received his B.A. in Economics with Honors from The Ohio State University.
